Freilichtmuseum Glentleiten

The open-air museum Glentleiten is the largest open-air museum in Southern Bavaria. It provides a comprehensive insight into the rural everyday life of the people of Upper Bavaria, in their Baukultur and work.

More than 60 original, translocated buildings have been rebuilt, together with their furnishings, in the midst of a cultural landscape cultivated according to historical models.

On the extensive, varied terrain you will find gardens, forests and pastures with old animal breeds. Again and again, spectacular views of mountains and lakes in Upper Bavaria open up.
