Reindl's Gold Mountain Experience

Fancy 5 holidays in the mountains? Then you are at the perfect place. You will enjoy the fascinating alpine world around Garmisch with our arrangement “Gold”. Explore Germany’s highest mountain Zugspitze in a round trip along with a ride on the “Alpspitzbahn” to the Osterfeldkopf. The round trip starts with a train at the train station in Garmisch, you switch to the rack railway in Grainau to go to the Eibsee. From the tunnel window it is getting dark and you will reach the glacier of the Zugspitze. From there you will “hover” with the glass gondola to Germany’s highest mountain platform, where you can enjoy the spectacular heights, rocks and sight of four countries. After that unique experience you will go back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen by cable car and rack railway. On your second day you will experience the observation platform Alpspixx. Have the guts to walk a few steps above the abyss and live to see the breath-taking view. In the evening you can indulge yourself with a delicious 5 course menu in our comfortable “new” restaurant or our Mediterranean wintergarden. The next day we will serve you an original crispy “Haxn” of pork in our good old-fashioned Alpenlounge. To accompany your meal, we have procured, for the 100^th Anniversary of our hotel, a bottle of fine Rieslings sparkling wine from the world class cellars of Reichsgraf von Kesselstadt situated in the Mosel River Valley and an anniversary praline from the Partenkirchner “Chocolate Factory”.
