Favorite recipes and portraits from 30 female chefs from Schwaben, Franken, der Oberpfalz, Nieder- und Oberbayern are featured in the cook book „Bayerische Weiberwirtschaft’n“. These female chefs are the soul of their art. All are hands on standing in front of their ovens and stoves preparing regional specialties – like Marianne Holzinger, the head kitchen chef in Reindl’s Restaurant. As a head chef with heart and soul, she follows the traditions of her father, the star chef Karl Reindl, and composes her true and authentic dishes. Clearly is Marianne Holzinger entry in the „Best-of“ the women cooks of Bavaria not an accident! Next to her portrait in the book, she reveals some of her favourite recepies like: „Carpaccio von Werdenfelser Steinpilzen mit Rehrückenmedaillsons“, „Krautwickerl vom Staffelsee-Zander und Gambas“ and „Hasenöhrl mit Hollerkompott“.
