Biking to a glacial lake and a king!
Interested in a bit of fitness? With a bike, one not only raises the pulse, but the disposition as well. Give it a try and jump on the saddle! Reindl’s tip: The intermediate rout from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the Plansee in Austria and the Kings estate house Linderhof. There you will dismount your bike and enter King Ludwig II’ s fairy tale manor house with it’s Neptune springs and the Venus cave with it’s revolutionary lighting system built in 1877. Then after a bit of road riding, it’s a comfortable ride back. Whether you mountain bike or street bike you can choose the option of biking through Griessen and then to the glacially carved Plansee for a swim before continuing on to the culture stop at Linderhoff, then back again.
